About
Live sky tracking, explained visually.
Celesiq is an educational astronomy utility that helps people understand where the Sun, Moon,
planets and selected spacecraft are positioned above Earth at a chosen moment.
What the app does
The main map shows the day and night side of Earth, object markers, approximate paths, Moon phase,
local visibility checks, eclipse candidates and rare alignment searches. The goal is to make sky
geometry easier to understand without needing a dense astronomical chart.
Object markers on the world map usually show the subpoint: the place on Earth where that object
appears highest in the sky. For satellites and spacecraft, markers represent approximate ground tracks
or educational references depending on the mission and orbit type.
Who it is for
Celesiq is built for curious skywatchers, students, teachers, photographers and anyone who wants
a quick visual answer to questions like "where is the Moon now?", "when is Venus visible?", or
"what does an eclipse alignment look like on Earth?".
Accuracy level
The calculations are designed for learning, planning and visual exploration. They are not a substitute
for official mission data, nautical navigation, spacecraft operations, eclipse safety planning or
scientific-grade ephemerides.
